Applicant information on data protection pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR

The protection of your personal data is important to us. According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are obligated to inform you about the purpose for which our company collects, stores, or shares data. This information also explains your data protection rights.

1. Purpose and legal basis of data processing

We process your data for the purpose of selecting a suitable applicant for available apprenticeships or jobs. The legal basis for processing your data is Article 88 GDPR and Section 26 Paragraph 1 BDSG (new version).

2. Recipients of your data

Your data will be shared with our HR recruiters or management. If your profile is a good fit for act's clients, we will forward your data in accordance with a "candidate presentation".

3. Storage duration

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary. Due to legal requirements, we are obligated to delete this data automatically after 6 months at the latest.

4. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR). You can also request the correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR). Furthermore, under certain conditions, you have the right to erasure of data (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Your data is processed on the basis of legal regulations. We only require your consent in exceptional cases. In these cases, you have the right to withdraw your consent for future processing (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR). You may also have the right to object to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR in the case of processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful.
